THE ISSUES

SHORT-FORM VIDEO AS AN EFFECTIVE RECRUITING TOOL

A simple and free mobile/web platform leveraging video and location services created to streamline the hiring process by enabling HR professionals to “invite” a potential job candidate to provide a brief video explaining why they are right for the posted job. These videos are then stored in your account in our cloud storage for future viewing and forwarding.

SOLVES A REAL RECRUITING PAIN POINT

Engineered specifically for HR professionals and recruiters with enhanced features and functionality including cloud storage of candidate videos and batch distribution of iVideoRecruiter requests.

INTRODUCING YOUR INDIVIDUAL iVIDEO-LINK

Introducing “iVideo-Link”, a free feature for recruiters to create their own customized and reusable URL/link that they can email, text, or otherwise messenger to job applicants which, when clicked, initiates and guides the user through the process of creating a video in response to the job posting. The response of which is directed back to the recruiter and stored in their account in our cloud storage.

HOW IT WORKS

Initiate an iVideoRecruiter Request

When a user sends an iVideoRecruiter request, the job applicant receives an email or text which has instructions on how to use iVideoRecruiter to return a brief video describing why they are a good fit for the job advertised.

Use of Video Interviews and the Law

The EEOC, the federal agency that enforces Title VII and the other federal non-discrimination laws, has maintained a neutral stance on the use of video interviews. Instead, the EEOC has directed employers to its guidance and technical assistance regarding employee selection procedures and related guidance that it has issued of a general nature. In addition, the EEOC has itself indicated that it would video interview where needed.
